A Warm Sunny Spot-Red Foxes
A warm sunny spot-Red Fox painting
"16x20" Acrylic on Canvas
"I went on my favorite trail, camera in hand, searching for a good setting for my red fox painting. When I saw this fir tree with ivy climbing up the sides I loved it. The background vine maples with trailing moss were found elsewhere on the trail. Altogether it makes for a cozy warm spot for them to take a rest." -DB

"Such a great spot we had for camping. While my husband and daughter enjoyed fishing and exploring the campground I frequently spent hours painting the path behind our tent. The woods did beckon and I could imagine a fawn peaking around the trail just ahead."-DB

The Guardian Goose
"The Guardian Goose"-16" x 20" Acrylic on Canvas -
"I photographed these canadian geese at West Moreland Park in Portland, Oregon. The one searching the horizon was actually looking for more treats from my husband who was feeding them.
I was standing by with my digital camera and got this inquisitive shot."---DB
