"Such a great spot we had for camping. While my husband and daughter enjoyed fishing and exploring the campground I frequently spent hours painting the path behind our tent. The woods did beckon and I could imagine a fawn peaking around the trail just ahead."-DB

Alpine Stroll-Grizzly Bear

"The Going to the Sun road in Glacier National Park had this mountain glacier view. It seemed a perfect setting for a grizzly bear painting. Grizzly bears are highly respected residents of this magnificent alpine area."---DB

Fawn Discoveries-Whitetail Deer Painting

Fawn Discoveries
16 x 20" Acrylic on canvas board

Young animals have a way of bringing delight to our heart. These whitetail fawns are exploring the world.
The mountains and landscape came from my visit to the alpine village of Leavenworth Washington. It is a great town to visit with 17 festivals each year. -DB
